NFR (NR) - Understanding of New Feature Request

New Feature Request

A new feature request is when a customer asks for a completely new capability or functionality that is not currently available in the product. This can be an entirely new tool, integration, or enhancement.

For Customers:

  • If you require something that’s not part of the current functionality, it’s considered a new feature request.
  • We’ll evaluate whether the new feature aligns with our product roadmap and if it’s feasible to include in a future release.
  • Provide a clear description of the feature you need and the problem it will solve for you.

For Staff:

  • Evaluate the request for its potential impact on the overall product and user base.
  • Determine whether the feature aligns with the product vision and roadmap.
  • Estimate resources and time to build the feature if it is approved.
  • Provide customers with feedback on the feasibility and expected timeline for release, and keep them updated throughout the development process.
